Cristina Iftimie, Vice President of The Carlyle Group, is an economics enthusiast with deep analytical experience who is passionate about optimizing organizational decision-making and innovative ways of working. She is experienced in assisting companies with strategy development and delivering large operational transformation programs focused on alignment to strategy, improving cost efficiency, and enhancing productivity.
Before joining The Carlyle Group, Iftimie spent 6 years at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a consultant and later as Project Leader. Prior to BCG, she served as Senior Analyst at Cornerstone Research. Iftimie received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Chicago and her Master of Business Administration in finance and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
