UK law firm standardises on Intapp Time for advanced time recording functionality
London, United Kingdom, 14 September 2015 – Intapp, a global leader in legal software, today announced that Veale Wasbrough Vizards (VWV), a full-service law firm with 300 staff based in London, Bristol and Birmingham, has adopted Intapp Time for time recording and time management. VWV selected Intapp Time after evaluating several time entry systems. Intapp is the No. 1 provider of time recording software to law firms in the UK, according to Legal IT Insider.
“Our search for a new practice management system presented the perfect opportunity to upgrade our time entry software. Intapp has an impressive track record in passive time capture as well as mobile time recording, and excellent integration with leading business systems. We’re also impressed with the depth of Intapp’s expertise in analytics,” said Amanda Loran, Head of Finance, Veale Wasbrough Vizards. “Intapp Time will enhance the accuracy and efficiency of time recording, and help provide valuable insight into business performance.”
Over the past two decades, traditional law firm time entry systems have changed very little, even as a growing number of lawyers and staff have become accustomed to a more consumer-friendly user experience across a wide range of other applications. Intapp Time is a breakthrough application which provides the ease of use, reliability and flexibility that lawyers have come to expect – enabling lawyers to have immediate access to time recording information, which is updated in real time across all their devices. Rather than starting with a blank screen, Intapp Time enables lawyers to review time entries from a list of captured activities which has been generated for them automatically. Most importantly, Intapp Time assigns durations and client codes automatically, so lawyers can simply click or swipe to create a complete, accurate time entry.
All time entries are checked at the point of entry to ensure that they comply with each client’s terms of business and e-billing guidelines – helping to accelerate the billing process and reducing the number of costly errors and amendments down the line. For firm management, Intapp Time also enhances the firm’s business intelligence with actionable data on the amount of time spent on specific projects and the efficiency of individuals, teams and practice groups.
“Accurate, timely data on how lawyers are spending their day can play an important role in client service, helping law firms to keep projects on budget and identify issues that need to be addressed with clients immediately rather than after the fact. We’re delighted to work with Veale Wasbrough Vizards in modernising its time recording system with Intapp Time,” said Bryan Roberts, Revenue Practice Group Lead, Intapp.
