Phil Olson leads the Business Development team at Waud Capital Partners. His team is responsible for leading the origination efforts for both new platform investments and strategic add-on acquisitions. Olson and the team actively manage and cultivate senior relationships across the investment banking, private equity, executive talent, and deal service provider ecosystem. They also help identify the very best acquisition candidates through extensive industry mapping, and utilize technology to effectively manage and originate investment opportunities.
Olson has more than 20 years of experience in finance and private equity. He previously served as a Managing Director at William Blair & Company, where he helped build a world-class financial technology and software investment banking team.
